3.7 billion years ago, the surface of Mars may have hosted an ocean of liquid water  in its northern hemisphere, and a large lake in the southern Hellas basin. The planets shown below are textured using a mars world map from NASA. I based the clouds on NASA’s photos of the earth’s cloud cover .
